The Learning Materials Included

The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Manual is an important component of PADI’s Emergency Oxygen training program. You’ll review a step-by-step explanation of how and when to provide emergency oxygen in a diving related incident. You’ll also learn about safety considerations such as fire hazards and combustible materials such as oil that can cause explosions when in contact with O2. From your PADI manual you will learn how to assemble and disassemble emergency oxygen equipment as well as adjust the recommended flow rates for the diver in need.

Prerequisites

Though suited for divers, this course has no prerequisites and doesn’t include any dives, which means it is equally applicable to those who are around divers – boat crew, non-diving buddies, lifeguards, and shore staff. You don’t need any previous CPR or first aid training to take the course; however it is highly recommended that if you are interested in taking this course then you should combine the course with the PADI EFR (CPR) training course.
