The PADI Deep Diver specialist course is everything you need to take that final step into the abyss. By gaining vital knowledge and practical application of deep diving you can lift your own limitations and explore new dive sites. Many of the world class wrecks are in water deeper than 30metres and are often inaccessible to divers without deep diver training. The Benefits

The PADI Deep spec course is designed to give you a deep knowledge base of many of the physical and physiological effects of deep diving, enabling you to fully understand the principles of safe deep diving. You’ll also experience first hand over 4 training dives and under the direct supervision of your deep diver specialist instructor.

What You Learn

  • Skills for diving in the deeper range of 18-40 metres / 60-130 feet deep diving equipment considerations and dive computer overview.
  • Dive planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the direct supervision of your PADI deep diver specialist Instructor.

The Dive Gear You Use

You use all the standard diving gear including a dive computer, some accessories and a dive light

The Learning Included

PADI Deep Diver crew pack (DVD and manual) provides a deep overview of the principles and skills needed to complete the PADI Deep Diver specialist course. In addition to previewing skills you’ll practice with your diving instructor, the learning materials serve as a reference guide for deep diving in a variety of conditions and diving environments.

Prerequisites

To enrol in the PADI Deep Diver specialist course, you must

  • Be 15 years or older
  • Have a PADI Adventure Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)

Path to Master Scuba Diver

If you have already completed the PADI Open Water course then you are no doubt eager to learn more. Continuing your diver education cannot be more beneficial to you as a diver.

It should be the goal of every diver to pursue the status of Master Scuba Diver. Continue your diver education up to Rescue diver and complete 5 PADI specialties of your choice to receive your MASTER SCUBA DIVER status.
